We hauled the kids up the coast to check for Snowies at Popham and Reid (after seeing the "easy" ones at Biddeford Pool yesterday). We didn't come up with any owls, but there was a pair of snow buntings at Fort Popham, and a good smattering of ducks off Griffith's Head (red-necked and horned grebes, eiders, a very happy COGO drake with nine females trailing him, common loons, and several pairs of long-tailed ducks). The only raptor activity was a red-tail flushing black ducks back behind the lagoon.

Matt
