[Maine-birds] Snowy Owls on Sun. Dec. 8

Mark Rolerson and I found 9 or 10 snowy owls at Biddeford Pool Sunday
morning: one on the rocks off the point, two on Wood Island, two on
the rocky island between Wood Island and the point, one on Stage
Island, one on another small island toward the mouth of the Saco
River, one on the church steeple near the golf course, and one or two
on houses on Mile Stretch Road. Later in the day we saw 4 more south
along the coast: one on the rocks just north of Nubble Light, one at
Cape Porpoise, and two just south of the Cliff House. It was an
amazing day. Danny Danforth
