[Maine-birds] Two Snowy Owls on Strawberry Island

There are two Snowy Owls on the rocks off Strawberry Island Preserve, Kennebunk Beach this afternoon. Both appear to be different than the one seen four days ago. These are noticeably larger with much whiter heads. Maybe some of the crowd at Biddeford Pool decided to move south.

There is also a large flock of 300-400 scoters there, mostly Black with a sprinkling of White-winged and Surf mixed in. Eiders, Red-breasted Mergansers, Horned and Red-necked grebes, 5 male Goldeneye, about 20 Long-tailed ducks and 27 seals hauled out on the rocks made for a busy spot.
