[Maine-birds] Unity Rusty Blackbirds

Despite cold temps and snow, at least two Rusty Blackbirds continue in Unity.  I found them feeding in a field with standing corn on Quaker Hill Road yesterday with nearly 50 tree sparrows.  They were probably the same two that were found nearby by Dave Potter on Saturday's CBC.  The full tally from that count is not complete but other highlights included a shrike and a single Bohemian Waxwing (scarce this winter it seems) which was near a large patch of winterberry with 5 robins at Carlton Bog.

Good birding,
tom
