Pat Moynahan has relocated the Hooded Warbler back at the edge of the field as previously described. It was present as of 12:45.

Hi all,

My search for big white owls was interrupted by a small yellow passerine. A female HOODED WARBLER was quite the shock as she called repeatedly while foraging in a thicket at the edge of the field that borders the corner of Orcutt Rd and First St.  It was in the small thicket behind telephone pole J18S (the "s" is missing), around the piles of grass clippings.

Unfortunately, I lost it at 10:45 and have failed to relocate it.

Meanwhile, there's a GRAY CATBIRD at the South Point Sanctuary, a Hermit Thrush at East Point, and in case you haven't heard, there are some SNOWY OWLS around here - but I "only" tallied 4 before being distracted and now run out of time.  A Razorbill was exceptionally close off of East Point much earlier this am.
