[Maine-birds] Additional Highlights This Week, 9/15-22

Hi all,
 
With most of my birding time either on Monhegan or at Sandy Point as previously reported, I have just a few additional sightings of note to share over the past eight days:
- 6+ Lincoln's Sparrows, Dragon Field, Portland, 9/18 (with Jeannette) - unfortunately, Portland mowed the field just in time for the best birding season here!
- 2 Solitary Sandpipers, Evergreen Cemetary, Portland, 9/18 (with Jeannette).
- 1 CLAY-COLORED SPARROW, Hedgehog Mountain Park, Freeport, 9/19 - my third record here.
- 6 Black-crowned Night-Herons, Yarmouth Town Landing, 9/20.
- 2 Northern Pintails, Florida Lake Park, Freeport, 9/21 (my 148th species here!).  Also, two Blue-winged Teal, 5 Pied-billed Grebes, etc.
- 16 Red-necked Grebes and 1 White-winged Scoter, Biddeford Pool Beach, Biddeford, 9/21 (with Scott Barnes).
- 1 ad and 1 imm Little Blue Heron, Biddeford Pool Beach parking lot pond, Biddeford, 9/21 (with Scott Barnes).
- 1 juv LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER and 1 juv American Golden Plover, Eastern Road Trail, Scarborough Marsh, 9/21 (with Scott Barnes, David Ladd, Robby Lambert, Doug Suitor, etc).
- 175 American Pipits and 2 Horned Larks, Mayall Road, Gray/New Gloucester, 9/22 (with Scott Barnes and Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
