Was working up to an eBird entry of 0 birds with this morning's fog / low clouds on top of Cadillac. There were quite a few frustrated sunrise watchers there, who eventually all left. A few shutterbugs were working on lichen close-ups as their plan b!
The septic field service road held today's only pocket of birdlife up there, including 1 Blackpoll Warbler, a cluster of W-t Sparrows and D-e Juncos, 1 Hairy W'p, and a couple B-c Chickadees. Glad to find the warbler, but hoping that one of these morning visits will deliver clear skies.
