[Maine-birds] red headed woodpecker kennebunk

Just had an adult male Red Headed woodpecker visit my suet. I was by the river and glanced up at my feeders by chance with my binocs and there he was. No pics or anything but what a great sight! Saw an immature 30 years ago but this could be called an FOL (first of life) for me!

Still have juv. hummingbirds visiting feeders on a daily basis and a male scarlet tanager visited @6:45 Fri. evening. The prior evening featured a single pied billed grebe heading upstream on the Mousam River. A pair of towhees have around the house for a week or so.
