[Maine-birds] Evening Grosbeaks etc. Cherryfield

Coming in the driveway after a morning out with the dog I scared off 6 Evening Grosbeaks (3 m/3 f) that had been at the feeders; one male lingered on the ground for a bit.

I have been forgetting to post Hermit Thrush: saw 1 yesterday on the blueberry barrens, 3 the day before that in the woods on the west side of the Narraguagus below the Rte. 1 bridge.

Finally, just now a Ruffed Grouse in the woods next to Tenan Lane.
