[Maine-birds] Grebe, widgeon, more ducks etc

Took a ride about with Don Cramer this weekend. Very birdy. Partially maybe do to the incoming storm. Seen in Lamoine and Ellsworth

1 Rust blackbird
Small flock of horned lark
Small flick of snow bunting
Crows everywhere
Grackle pair at my feeder (cleaned out 2 suet blocks)
30+ pine Siskin
6 red breasted nuthatch
6 white breasted nuthatch
Yellow crowned kinglet heard at the top of the for and spruce in my yard
Black capped chickadee
Juncos
Song sparrow blue jay
White throated sparrow
Numerous large rafts of common eider
Common loons in numerous small groups
Blue heron ( 1 with a mussel clamped on to his foot as he flew see picture)
Pied billed grebe at the MDI HS ponds
Blue winged Teel at the same ponds
Female Hooded merganser
Huge flocks of mixed gulls littering the rocks at sea wall
Several eagles (1-Crooked road, 1-old soaker, several around Union river.)

Non bird-
Lots of groups of turkeys
Several nice deer (1-gorgeous buck in his prime-see photos)
