[Maine-birds] Mitchill Field - So. Harpswell - Oct 25

Numbers of birds are down slightly from the past few weeks, but diversity in sparrows seems good. Eight species this morning:

Am Tree Sparrow - 2
Field - 1
Savannah (E) - 36
Fox - 1 (perched on tomato cage , garden
Song - 18
Swamp - 3 (this total is way down
White throated - 2 (fringing woods)
White-crowned - 14  (highest total of the fall; incl 3 adults

also overhead flights of  WWCrossbills and Pine Siskins.
