Phippsburg Maine Map 6 Totman Cove
JUST this second had a Wild turkey fly by the window (a LOT of bird flying by your livingroom windows!) and through the yard wth a Sharp-shinned hawk in hot pursuit, Sharpie drove turkey into a tree where it pounded on it a few times, diving and bombing, poor turkey sat a flappin' not knowing what to do, Sharpie took off all proud of itself, zipped around few times and left. Then so did the turkey in a big, embarrassed sulk. The wierdest thing! Definitely one of the oddest bird behaviors I've ever witnesssed.
But then, there was that time I saw a domestic cat playing with a live Beaver on a salt marsh looking like it had caught the biggest mouse of its life..........
Also, Buffleheads two in cove this morning first of season
