hi all--finally heard the woodcock on Friday--back in his usual spot--and calling at dusk and early in the morning on Saturday (maybe all night)--also saw my first phoebe on Saturday. Heard the osprey too. The wood ducks came up from the pond again on Sunday (very early)--and today the first tree swallows were diving and swooping and checking out the bird houses.
