On Monday afternoon, February 3, there were 17 bald eagles surrounding the north end of Sabattus Pond along with many crows all feeding on left overs from the ice fishermen. Danny Danforth

A female light morph Rough-legged Hawk has been along the highway in
Richmond for at least the past week. It's presumably the same one as last
year at this same location (one year ago to the day for me). Spotted it
perched and flying just north of Beedle Road today, along Weeks/Peacock
Road. Last year, Brown Road was a good place to look for it as well.
