[Maine-birds] Avocet YES at 1:05 PM Today

Searched for American Avocet 11 AM  this morning at Wells Reserve (Laudholm) from Farley Trail Lookout and did not see it.  Walked around the property looking in other likely places for it and did not spot it.  Went back to Farley Trail Lookout and it was there at 1 PM  -- along the far side of the Little River to the far right of the lookout in the company of a Snowy Egret.  Both were foraging in the mud in very close proximity to each other.  They were pretty far out but the Avocet was easy to spot with its orangish neck.   Watched it for about  20 minutes and it was still there when I left at 1:20.
