[Maine-birds] Nesting Lincoln's Sparrow

I've been working on filming nesting birds this spring/summer and thought I'd share one that most people have probably never seen before. Lincoln's Sparrow. Lincoln's Sparrow was one of the species I was intent on finding this year and after a lot of searching, I managed to find one nest. Not an easy task! Luckily I have a couple spots that have clusters of them so I had a good starting point. After a few visits to film the nest, almost getting trampled by a bull moose while filming and lots of mosquito bites, I managed to get the whole sequence I wanted. Three eggs hatched and all three chicks fledged. The following is a short collection of clips.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rDGa28BrrY

I'll be posting more nesting videos as I get to them and am still filming active nests so just subscribe to the channel to keep up to date if you want.
