But before that I was taking pictures of yellowlegs, and this one struck me as odd from afar. Behaving very differently, and swimming as much as wading. I knew it was something else, but did not have my guidebook with me.
Fast forward to tonight downloading my pics. Can anyone confirm this is a Wilson's Phalarope? That is my working hypothesis at this moment. It would be a lifer so I feel the need for confirmation. Or not, as the case may be.
