Re: [Maine-birds] Carolina wren in Nobleboro

It's not too late for feeding young in Berwick. Saw 4 fledglings lined up for breakfast this morning. This brood, the third successful one of the year, fledged on the 23rd/24th.

Over the past couple of weeks, I have heard a Carolina wren singing in the early morning along the Ice Palace Road just off the Vannah Road and near the boat lunch. Today it seems that his calls were answered by a second one. I was able to see one; he seemed to be carrying something in his beak. (Seems a bit late to have young ones).
