[Maine-birds] Red-necked phalarope Sabattus Pond, Greene

I am currently watching a red necked phalarope swimming in the pond off of our dock in Greene. It's been swimming about 50 feet offshore for the last 40 minutes since I noticed it. On ebird a first andrscoggin record. I will upload photos to ebird soon. We give permission for anyone who wants to try to view it from our dock, at 7 Sylvain lane (the house under construction at the top of the hill - you can park out of the way of the workers in the driveway, and then walk down the lawn in front of the house to the dock). It let me get within 6 feet on a paddle board. (44.1431845, -70.1104485). It's not moving too quickly, but it is slowly drifting down the shore to the southeast. So cute!
