Fun to drive in the driveway coming home this afternoon, to look out and see a brown bird creeping up the tree right in front of the car. Sure enough, it went up to the top of the tree, and flew to another one. Next another creeper did the same on the tree next to it. Cheery to watch. My first one for the state of Maine, in 14 years. (I don't get out much.) I had 21 before that in New York State.
