[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 10/17-23

Hi all,

My observations of note over the past seven days included the following:
- Pine Siskin high count this week: 100+, Bailey Island, Harpswell, 10/19 (with Jeannette).
- 1 Yellow Warbler in a flight of only 53 total migrants, led by 11 Yellow-rumped Warblers, Sandy Point Morning Flight, 10/18.
- 1 EASTERN MEADOWLARK, 1 Bobolink, 1 Field Sparrow, 1 Indigo Bunting, 1 Evening Grosbeak, etc, private property in Cape Elizabeth, 10/18.
- 1 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER (FOY), 1 Yellow Warbler, 1 Black-and-white Warbler, 1 Black-throated Blue Warbler, etc, Bailey Island, Harpswell, 10/19 (with Jeannette).
- 1 MAGNOLIA WARBLER, our yard in Pownal, 10/12.
-  842 Ruddy Ducks, 1 Red Crossbill, 1 Blue-headed Vireo, 3 Black Scoters, 19 Bufflehead (FOF), etc, Sabattus Pond, Sabattus, 10/22 (with Dan Nickerson).
