We took the first of our daily scheduled trips to Petit Manan I. today. (This is a 3.5 hour commercial nature cruise leaving from Bar Harbor daily at 1:15 p.m.) We do not land on the island.

Osprey, on nest in Frenchman Bay

Great Black-backed Gull
Roseate Tern 2
Common Tern 200+
Arctic Tern 50+
Common Murre 1 roosting with Puffins
Razorbill 4 roosting with Puffins
Black Guillemot
Atlantic Puffin 200+
non bird: Many Red Admiral butterflies, Harbor Porpoise, Harbor Seal.
