[Maine-birds] Southern Maine raptors

It was a good day for random raptor sighting today.  I had a fleeting view of an unidentified buteo dropping down feet-first from somewhere above onto some kind of prey in the long grass on the side of a road as I was driving in York.  Then around 2:20 today I saw a bald eagle pass over my nephew's birthday party on Old Orchard.  And as I headed back south after the party a peregrine falcon crossed over the highway in Saco.

Not bad for a day with no intentional birding.
