Re: [Maine-birds] orioles in Kennebunk

Baltimore Orioles are common in our yard for the past few years. We have 2 nesting pairs on our property this year and a bunch of juvies from last year's hatch. They are devouring grape jelly, suet, oranges, and occasionally meal worms.

Hummingbirds are also plentiful here on the mid coast.

The same oriole situation holds true in the mid-coastal area. Orioles
were very scarce for perhaps the last couple of years. In previous
years, we had at least one nesting pair in my Warren neighborhood.
This year, halved oranges went untouched.
