[Maine-birds] DYER POINT CAPE ELIZABETH

All,

Paula and I went back this afternoon to Dyer Point after a ride to Nubble Light to see the dovekie(s). The American Pipit is still there hanging around the cave in the rocks on the right hand side of the beach.  Met up with David Rankin and he pointed out a Dovekie very close to shore in front of the Lobster Shack restaurant. The bird is just floating and was not diving as much as those at the Nubble.

I am sure David will post later. Thanks to David for sharing this sighting.
