[Maine-birds] lapland longspurs cape elizabeth

struck out 3rd time looking for the lark sparrow.  Apparently I missed it by 30 minutes, said the owner of the house.

On the way out via parking lot at Cape schools (behind middle school), I saw 2 lapland longspurs feeding on some grass exposed by snowmelt.  very tame.  1st big lot on your right as you drive towards rear of school.

closing shop now for an hour to find that King Eider Derek just posted about!!
