York County

A FIELD SPARROW continues to visit private feeders in Berwick.

A 'YELLOW' PALM WARBLER and a SWAMP SPARROW were seen at Fort Foster on the 13th.

Strawberry Island, visible from the rock ledges off Great Hill Road in Kennebunk, had a SNOWY OWL on it on the 13th.

Several DOVEKIES were seen at the Nubble Lighthouse in Cape Neddick starting on the 12th.

A SNOWY OWL was seen atop the house next to the Wood Island Lighthouse from East Point Sanctuary in Biddeford. Four RUDDY TURNSTONES were also seen from here.

Up to two BARROW'S GOLDENEYES continued to be seen in the Saco River from Water Street throughout the week.

A GLAUCOUS GULL and the continuing 'WESTERN' PALM WARBLER were present at the Saco Yacht Club on the 9th.

Greater Portland

A LARK SPARROW continued to be seen along the Greenbelt Trail near the Cape Elizabeth High School this week.

On the 11th, a KING EIDER was seen off Dyer Point in Cape Elizabeth. An AMERICAN PIPIT spent the 13th on the beach here while a THICK-BILLED MURRE and a DOVEKIE were also present.

Kennebec River Valley (Augusta-Waterville)

A SNOWY OWL was seen perched on a telephone pole from I-95 through Benton on the 13th.

Midcoast

Two late BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS continued to be seen at Popham Beach State Park this week.

Penobscot Bay

A late NORTHERN FLICKER was reported from Beech Hill Preserve in Rockport on the 8th.

Continuing from November 28th, Maine's fourth TOWNSEND'S WARBLER is visiting feeders located at the end of Kaler Street in Winterport. Please do not park at the end of the road; use the space in the last driveway on the left, as you face the river.

A BLACK-HEADED GULL was found at Owl's Head Harbor on the 11th and continued throughout the week.

Downeast

An adult RED-HEADED WOODPECKER continues to be seen at private feeders in Bar Harbor. A late BROWN THRASHER was also seen here on the 7th.

A THICK-BILLED MURRE was photographed at Old Soaker on Mount Desert Island on the 11th.

Western Mountains

On the 8th, a SNOWY OWL was reported from Streaked Mountain in Norway.
