Nice hour scoping at Ocean Point this morning. Highlights:
My farthest north, coastal Mockingbird (photos)
a Drake Barrow's Goldeneye w/ a group of 14 Commons
5 Great Cormorants, but also a solo Double-crested Corm. (not the first winter DCCorm I've seen here).
7 Razorbills & 7 Blk Guillemots
Finally, as I was driving up Van Horn Rd, a Barred Owl flew across (and lower than) my windshield. This was right at the entrance to the Ocean Point Preserve.
But no King Eiders
