Comments: Doug Hitchcock, Paul Miliotis and Frank Mitchell come up from Portland to nail the RHWP... which we found and photographed. Other good birds were Brown Creeper for me and an assortment of ducks.

Red-headed Woodpecker (Melanerpes erythrocephalus) 1 Continuing at the Douglas feeder. Doug has some good images of this bird but the lighting was foggy and gray! This bird has been observed storing food in some of the Oaks on the property as if settling down for the rest of winter? Very vocal suggest a male…. But no sexual behavior differences known in the species.

Comments: Nico and I spent a little time out at Otter Point on a tip of other Alcids. I found no Alcids this afternoon o clearing skies and calming winds
