Folks snoeshoe-ing the Wildcat peaks A and D yesterday in NH reported a robust hatch of springtails. Elevations 1600 -4000 ft above MSL were 55+F and up: @ 6288 ' 48 F high for the day and all time highest temp recorded in January for the summit of Mt Washington.
Get the meal worms out, those temps are going to be a thing of the past very quickly.
