Total individual birds seen for 2012 : 146,066
What an amazing 2012 it was for birds. With all of my travels, I ended the year with 345 species seen. A total of 1015 checklists compiling 146, 066 individual birds. Cuba and Maine made up the the bulk of the observations.
Final good bird of the year was a Mount Desert Island Red-headed Woodpecker (with photos) .
