[Maine-birds] Golden Eagle, Bath; Pink-footed Goose NO

A juvenile GOLDEN EAGLE put on a show over the Bath Landfill around noon today. Single 1st-yr Glaucous and Iceland Gulls were there too. The commotion caused by the eagle and limited time meant the other gulls were not scanned thoroughly. Don Mairs, Margaret Viens, Mike Fahay, and I searched the Mill Cove and Winnegance Bay area for the Pink-footed Goose found by Robin Robinson. We had no luck and found less than half the Canada Geese in the cove compared to the weekend. Steve Mirick's report of Canada Geese migrating along the New Hampshire coast yesterday suggests many could have departed.
