Hi All,
Sorry for the late post. But I'm pretty sure these birds aren't going anywhere (with the exception of the plover).
At the Owl's Head Harbor lobster impoundment:
5 First cycle Iceland gulls
1 first cycle glaucous gull
1 semipalmated plover
And a buncha herring, ring-billed, Bonaparte's, and GBB gulls.
As happy as I am to see Iceland gulls (I live in Oregon where we don't get to see them- ever), I think semipalmated plover might be the best bird of my trip; Nov. 28th has to be super late for that bird in Maine, huh?
cheers,
Randy
