[Maine-birds] Snowy at Two Lights

While scanning distant Richmond Island for SNOWs (where there have been two recently) from the rocks at Two Lights SP, a Snowy flew in off the ocean and alighted on the cliff edge 15 feet from me. It sat there for five minutes staring at me, its head filling the entire field of my scope before taking off down the shore toward Dyer Point. An intimate encounter...
