[Maine-birds] Monhegan highlights

I've been here three days, but the first two days I was playing tourist with my mother. Birds are low in numbers generally and some of the usual suspects aren't here... yet. Highlights through today include:

White-eyed vireo-2
Philly vireo-1 (thanks, Louis and Will!)
Blue-headed video-2
Clay-colored sparrow-2
Yellow-billed cuckoo-1
White-crowned sparrow-1
Sora-1
Cape May warbler-1 (thanks, Peter!)
Bald eagle-2
Harrier-2
Merlin-3
Sharpie-2
Belted kingfisher-2
Black-bellied plover-1
Red-breasted nuthatch-gazillions
N. flicker-slightly less than that
Brown creeper-4
Great cormorant-1
Balt. Oriole-4
Rose-breasted grosbeak-1
Gannet-great show all day long!

Seen but not by me: orange-crowned warbler, spotted sandpiper, blue-winged teal

Beautiful weather, excellent people. The birds are bonus!
