[Maine-birds] Fruit eaters descend on Unity

Over the course of the last week a flock of robins has appeared at Unity College.  Today there were at least 50 which were accompanied by at least 125 Cedar and 10 Bohemian Waxwings.  The birds are feeding in the multiflora rose thickets behind the Eastview dorm which is across the street from the main campus.  Many of the male robins look really dark and seem good candidates for the Newfoundland race.

Good birding,
tom
