Hi all,
Jeannette and I birded our way from Kittery through Wells today, resulting in the following highlights:
- 1 Snowy Owl (SNOW) being harassed by the Peregrine Falcon that overwinters here, Fort Foster, Kittery.
- 1 DOVEKIE (DOVE), The Nubble, Cape Neddick (close to shore, but drifting out on outgoing tide).
- 1 drake Barrow's Goldeneye (BAGO), The Nubble.
- 1 Snowy Owl, The Cliff House.
- 3 Greater Scaup (GRSC), Marginal Way, Ogunquit.
- 10 Sanderlings, Ogunquit Beach.
- 1 Snowy Owl, parking lot at north end of Wells Beach.
- 36 total Harlequin Ducks (low), scattered Purple Sandpipers, a few Razorbills, and a total of 3 Carolina Wrens.
-Derek
