Thanks to all who sent me information on how to find a snowy owl and
how they behaved. Thankfully, given my time constraints, it turned
out to be extremely simple to view one at Biddeford pool. Two helpful
birders with long lenses, both aimed at the same rooftop were the
tip-off. Also seen, a small exultation of horned larks. Anne
