I have just learned of a White-winged Dove which has been coming to a
birdbath now and then in the afternoon. Apparently it has been here "all
summer" ... not sure if that includes June or July. The residence is
near fields and lesser developed but still a residential area. It is not
clear if birders will be encouraged or discouraged from coming. A few
photographs were taken by the lady who discovered it, they are quite
clear and I will try to get some of them posted. It has been seen within
the past week. More when I have more to say, probably Monday or Tuesday.
