[Maine-birds] Bar Harbor Snowy Owl

1/17/14 The immature Snowy Owl was at the Hancock County - Bar Harbor airport at 2 p.m. It was sitting on the northeast quadrant marker of the yellow segmented navigational circle on the north side of the runway. Best viewing was from the seasonal biplane base on Route 3. The segmented circle consists of large horizontal yellow rails surrounding the red wind sock (intended for viewing from the air).
