We,ve seen as many as 7 EABL's returning to check out their nesting boxes at the edge of our field where they were successful last summer. Last sighting was early December, though.

I've been seeing 1 - 9 bluebirds at various locations in Sagadahoc County on a regular basis, e.g., 9 today in Dresden. They appear to be more widespread than in recent years.
I'd be interested whether others are also seeing bluebirds with greater frequency, despite the cold weather.
