[Maine-birds] Common Eider - Madison

A drake common eider has been present on the Kennebec River between the dams in Madison for about a week now. Best viewed from Pine Street.

Here at the feeders in Anson we have between 5-20 evening grosbeaks daily. We've also had pine grosbeaks and redpolls sporadically. One adult Northern shrike is also hanging around chasing the chickadees.
