8 Evening Grosbeaks at our feeder Buckfield for a few days along with a lone Fox Sparrow, Tree Sparrows, and a few White Throats. We also have a hawk that swings by from time to time for a meal; we have never seen the bird only the Mourning Dove feathers left after the feast. (Tthis summer we had a Coopers Hawk nesting in the woods behind our house). And the Turkeys have arrived; a group of four males and one female who, however, is always found 10' to 20' apart from the group, away from the prime feeding area? And if she approaches, the males chase her off?
