[Maine-birds] Camden to Owls Head

Everyone,

Fyn Kynd and I birded the coast from Camden to Owls Head this afternoon. The following are a few of our sightings-

In Camden Harbor: American Widgeon, American Coot, drake Ring-necked Duck (more details and AMWI photo: checklist).

Rockland Breakwater: good views of Great Cormorant, but no Purple Sandpipers.

Weskeag Marsh; Rough-legged Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, Common Merganser fly-by.

Owls Head Harbor: Bonaparte's Gull, 11 Iceland Gulls (2 adult, 2 2nd cycle, 7 1st cycle).

All of our observations from the day are in eBird, and I'd be happy to provide more details upon request.

Regards,
William Nichols
