[Maine-birds] Warren to Cushing

A few birds to mention from an afternoon excursion: 10 horned larks near Weskeag Farm stand; rough-legged and red-tailed hawks are quite reliable at this location; at Pleasant Point Harbor (located near the end of Pleasant Point Road in Cushing) - two odd-couple ducks swimming and hanging out  together for at least a half hour: a ruddy duck and greater scaup that moved around the harbor in tandem. Yet another snowy owl perched on a chimney top at junction of RTE 97 and RTE 1 in Warren (this is the turnoff to Maine State Prison.) This particular owl was at the lighter end of the plumage spectrum. On North Pond Road in Warren, a roadside barred owl hunting at dusk.
