[Maine-birds] scarborough 3 snowies, barred, etc

today, took a cruise Biddeford pool, two Snowy owls, youngster looked like same bird I saw last week and an adult, both on marsh
on the way home, Scarborough, Route one/9 in the marsh across the road from the old Anjon's near Dunstan's corner, THREE snowies. One was a young bird, darker than the others with heavy barring, one was older, whiter and one an adult. The adult was perched on a huge chunk of ice, where it stayed put even while being mobbed by a dozen crows. One was perched on a shack that looks like maybe an old duck blind. It flew across the marsh several times, pouncing into the grass. I didn't see that it caught anything. The third bird was hunched down in the marsh grass and also flew around a few times, likewise pouncing but nto seeming to catch anything. All of the birds were mobbed by the crows. I'm pretty sure that those birds can be found there again. I saw the bird on the ice chunk first, so pulled over for a better look. Scanning with binocs revealed the others pretty quickly. I'm guessing they are hanging around there like the Bidd pool birds and will be found again.

Also on highway, Red tailed hawks 2, one swooped in front of my car so closely that I flinched behind the wheel,

no Golden eagle, but some really nice Grabins!
