I was able to relocate the previously reported American Avocet from the Eastern Trail on the afternoon of the 22nd. It was seen flying very far out, heading roughly towards Pine Point - I didn't make any attempt to get closer because of the sensitive nesting birds in the marsh right now (Willet seem to be wrapping up but the sharp-tailed sparrows are still actively at nests).
Also wanted to mention that one of the Tricolored Herons has developed a routine of flying over the Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center each day (for the past two weeks) around noon (+/- 1 hour) and settling in at Dunstan Landing.
