Re: [Maine-birds] Kingbird, Bobolink on MDI

Hi Tammy,

Down East Nature Tours has been reporting Bobolink at both the Rockefeller Farm and the Smith Family Farm throughout the summer with the totals somewhere around  20 adults.   Thanks for the sighting of YOY Bobolink as I have been looking for them but have not stopped out there for a few days.

We have been seeing Bobolink at the Smith Family Farm since May 31. I do not know a total for the SFF but there must be YOY out there so we will check in the AM during tomorrows trip.

All the best,

Michael

On my way into work this morning made a quick birding stop at the farm field on Norway Drive, Bar Harbor. First bird I saw was an Eastern Kingbird., immediately followed by a first-of-the-year (for me; thanks for reporting it yesterday, Carol) Bobolink.
