[Maine-birds] Schoodic Peninsula this morning

Hi all -- Headed to Schoodic Peninsula and SERC (Schoodic Education and Research Center) for a meeting today, and arrived early for a bit of birding. Also had a chance to note species in and around the SERC campus while I was there.

Best Goodies:
N. Gannet 1
Red Crossbill 15 (flock; seen and heard)
Laughing Gull 1
Hermit and Swainson's thrushes (just 1 of the latter, audible)
Gr. Yellowlegs 1

Other spp were seen and heard, but less noteworthy.

En route there -- Mud Creek Rd in Lamoine:
Bobolink 2
B Kingfisher 1

Cheers,
Craig K
