[Maine-birds] RE: (Maine Birds) Mount Desert Island Birds July 21 and 22 2012

Mount Desert Island Birds    July 21 and 22 2012   Species Totals

We found the Peregrine Falcon family from the Beech Cliffs nest sight in Acadia National Park and some dynamic aerial displays and feeding behaviors along the St. Savior cliffs at Valley Cove yesterday July 22.  Along with some photos of an intensely focused adult Broad-winged Hawk at the Rockefeller Farm (see facebook for images) it was agood day for raptors on MDI.  A Gray Jay was reported on Cadillac mountain July 22 at about 4:25 pm.
